What we build with stone & cambria
Stone fabrication happens at our sister brand Quality Surfaces in Spencer, Indiana — a stone-only fabrication shop that John Cook bought in 2014 and that has been one of Laminated Tops’ suppliers since 2017. After the 2023 acquisition, all stone work for Quality Casework projects gets fabricated at the Spencer line and installed by crews from either Bloomington or Spencer.
Cambria is a separate story. Cambria fabricates its own slabs through a certified-fabricator network. We’re a certified installer / partner — we don’t fabricate Cambria, but we do install it on commercial projects and coordinate scheduling, slab selection, and finish details for specifiers writing Cambria into their drawings.

NSI-accredited fabrication
Quality Surfaces was the first NSI (Natural Stone Institute) accredited fabricator in Indiana. Documented standards for production, install, and customer protection.
Cambria Certified Installer
Specifiers writing Cambria can specify us by name. We install at the same level of standards Cambria itself requires.
Full-slab viewing
Quality Surfaces stocks full slabs on-site at Spencer — specifiers and end clients can see the actual material that will go in their project, not a 4-inch sample.
Engineering-grade fabrication
CNC-driven cuts, proprietary seam process for inconspicuous joints, install QC at the project site.
Material range
Granite, quartz, soapstone, Dekton, large-format porcelain, exotic stones. If the material exists, the Spencer line can probably cut it.
