Capabilities — Solid Surface

Solid surface fabrication for healthcare, education, and hospitality.

Thermoforming, integrated bowls, seamless installs. Corian, Hi-Macs, Wilsonart, Avonite — engineered for sanitary and high-traffic specifications.

What we build with solid surface

Solid surface is where commercial casework gets specified instead of stone or laminate — healthcare wet zones that need integrated bowls with no seam, science labs that need chemical resistance, hospitality bartops that need a continuous surface, education environments that need to take abuse without showing it.

We fabricate solid surface at both of our locations — Bloomington and Spencer. The thermoforming line lets us shape pieces that flat-stock material can’t do: integrated coved backsplashes, curved edges, custom shower walls, large-format wall cladding without seams.

How we work in solid surface

Five things solid surface does that laminate and stone can’t.

01

Integrated bowls, no seam

Thermoformed integrated bowls eliminate the silicone joint that harbors bacteria. Standard for healthcare; specifiable for hospitality and lab work.

02

Seamless coved backsplash

Thermoformed cove transitions from top to wall — no L-seam, no caulk line. Cleanability and aesthetic both improve.

03

Repairable in place

Surface scratches and small damage can be sanded out on-site. Critical for long-life institutional installs.

04

Antimicrobial options

Material grades with built-in antimicrobial properties for healthcare specifications.

05

Color and edge consistency

Solid through-color material — no laminate-edge tell. Matches across pieces and across re-orders.

Where it happens

Solid surface is fabricated at both Bloomington and Spencer facilities. Install crews go out from either location.
